It is well that, shareholders in mining companies should be aware of the fact (hat, untie'- the Mining Companies Act 1872, am'-'.lment ■ AC'j it,isjaiti down, that all cidls from the' jay they are made shall be deemed to be a debt due from the holder of such share to the company, and is recoverable with interest ami costs of sui in any Court of competent jurisdiction ; and, moreover, that any transferor of a share or shares shall continue to be chargeable fmsix months after the transfer with any liability or debt incurred prior to such transfer.
