It is expected that by sluicing away more i.f the surface, gold will be obtained sufficient to pay the greater proportion of the expense to be incurred in the opening up the mine. ° The Proprietor, Mr While, retains 3000 fully paid-up Shares as the consideration for handing ever the whole property to the Company, and he haa agreed to retain the management for 12 months, subject to the approval of the Directors. The Share List will close on the first day of November next, and early application is necessary, as requests for nea ly 5000 Snares of the 7000 offered to the pu lie have been already made by residents in the district.
