CLYDE V. CROMWELL. A match between the above Clubs was played at Cromwell on Saturday last, ami resulted ia a victory for the local team on the first innings, time not permitting it being played out. The Cromwell men went first to the wickets, and succeeded in putting together S3 runs ; the Clyde in their first attempt making 37 The second innings of Cromwell close 1 for 45. Clyde, with 61 to win. commenced their second innings at 20 minutes to 6, and succeeded iu running up 35 runs for the loss of 1 wicket, M‘Donald and Stevens being not out with 12 and 3 respectively.
