matter to stamp it oat, or even if it caa be done at all; but wa do know that some effort should be male It has now been in our town a id district since August, fully twelve months, during which time happily, there has been but one death directly traceable to it; but who can tell, if it is allowed to increase in virulence—the which it is quite sure to do the longer it has its hold amongst us—what the effect may be during the next twelve months. This gentle hint wo trust ths Board will take in all kindness of spirit, and at once set about disinfecting and removing everything and anything that is in the least allied to the suspicion of being a cause.
