VINCENT COUNTY COUNCIL
The following is the business for consideration at the special meeting ot the Council, to be held on the 17th inst.;— Or. Macginnis moved—'l'hat the Council make enquiries as to whether the tender ot Donald Hut’on for Contract, repdrs to Cromwell Bridge, and the tender of Patrick Thomas for Contract No. 103, r> - | pairs to Macandrew Bridge are dummy tenders or no , and with that view they proceed—lst. To examine all documents in the possession of the Council relating to the tenders and contracts. 2nd. To examine the Eu gineer and all documents in his pos session which might throw light on the matter. 3rd. That Donald Hutton and Patrick Thomas, if they desire, or any other person who may be able to enlighten the Council lie also examined, and should the enquiry go to show that Donald Hutton was not the real tenderer for Contract No. 96 hut a dummy, or that Patrick Thomas is not the real tenderer for Contract No. 103, but a dummy ; the Council then proceed—lst To deal with Donald Hut on and Patrick Thomas 2nd. With the rc*M tenderer, who ever he may be. 3rd "With the coii-ti-acts ii such manner as they (the Council) may deem fit.
