Holloway’s Ointment and Pills.— ln. fluenza, Sore Throat, Quinsey, Mump , and similar complaints always abound in unsettled weather, and are most safely and effectually subdued by rubbing Holloway’s Ointment at least twice a day upon the chest and glands of the throat. The Hint ment penetrates the skin, reduces inflammation, and heals ulcerations. This treatment is sufficient for curing the serious ond complicated throat effections, provided that Holloway’s Pills bo taken at the same time. When swallowing gives pain, the Ointment may be relied on till improving symptoms admit of painless deglutition, [n asthma, bronchttus, pneumonia plenrisd, whooping cough, incipient consnmptio' , scarlet fever and measles. Holloway’., medicines are not less valuable in mitigating the most troublesome features than they are certain in ultimately curing. Tae Supreme Court, Nelson, on June T6th, after an hour and a-half’s consideration, found John Tyrell, proprietor of the Wettport Star, guilty of inserting a letter containing * libel on Charles Wright, proprietor of the Butler 2Feu>*. The judge inflicted a fine of £SO, payable to Her Majesty.
