—i - ■ The annual rn-etiug of this club was held at Clyde, on the 24th inst., at which the attendance of members was larger than has been for some years past, while the visitors were greatly in excess of what we have ever seen, our C •omwcll frien Is stau ing well to the fore The weather, though dry. was anything but Queen's weather, the sky being dull and uiisiy, preventing Old Sol from once putting iu an appearance. As will be seen by the scores below, the shooting was not up te the usual average, but this doubtless was ascribed to the general mnrkiness that prevailed. Mr Cox carried ff first ho.ny-s, Mr Bouchier second, and Mr Dalgliesh tl i-d. ’’’he two latter, it will bescen, tied with eight birds, and their relative positions were decided by them shooting off two bir’seach. Mr B-mchier succeeded in ki'ling'mtb, while Mr Dalgliesh only managed to give one his qnijtus.
Bourchier and Dalgleish shot off for second place, two birds each, Bourchier killing his two birds, whereas Dalgliesh only killed o e. Bourchier therefore carried off second honours. Stand Out Match, 5 birds each.
