DTOBMN, April 12th, 7.">0. p.m. At the Land Board to-day, Mr Cargill rep ied to a letter from the Board re suspected dumrnyism, and the reply was looked upon with dissatisfaction. Another motion -was carried to the effect that licenses be not issued at present ior Strathtaieri sections, but purchasers to meet the Board and give satisfactory explanation. Mr Stout expressed himself strongly on the point Parliament is further prorogued to May sth. The man Williams, who was injured last week at Hindon, died on Tuesday.
