I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that at the Nomination of persons to fill the office of Members of Committee for the above District, duly notified to take place at the School House, Matakanui, on Thursday, the Ist day of March, 1883, at 12 Neon, the names of the following per. sons were received by me, viz. : JOHN STRORACH WILLIAM GREENBANK PATRICK MURPHY HENRY BUDD TIMOTHY GRAY. The above Nominations not being in excess of the number required, I did then, and do now, publicly declare John Stronach, William Greenbank, Patrick Murphy, Henry Budd, and Timothy Gray, to be a Committee for the Matakanui Licensing District for the ensuing year. I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that it is my intention to apply to the Waste Lands Board, Dunedin, as soon .as practicable after the expiration of three weeks from the date hereof (application lodged at Clyde Lind Office this day), to purchase 50 acres (more or less) of Crown Lands on B lac ns Flat, bounded by the Station pre-emptive, lands in occupation of Peter Harrington and George Stringer, Crown Lands, and including my residence area, and intersected by the Main Road there.
