Captain Sheridan who is stated to have negotiated the alleged Kilmainham 'Peaty between Mr Gladstone and Mr Parnell, by which the imprisoned Irish members obtained their liberty, has been implicated in the operations of the Assassins’ Committee by the evidence given in tin Phoenix Park murder case by the informers, p - c ;_. Paris, February 19. M. Jules Ferry has been summoned by President Grdvy and requested to undertake the formation of a new Ministry. M. Ferry has accepted the task. Cairo, February 19. Five Bedouins have been found guilty of the murder of Professor Palmer and Messrs Gill and Charrington in October, and have been sentenced to death. Five o: hers that are implicated in the murder are still at large. Bulimy, February 19. “ Major” Tucker and eighteen of the Salvation army, who were parading the streets, have been arrested here. The Government Bill providing for alfirmation in lieu of oath at option of members upon taking their seats in the House. of Commons was introduced in the House of Commons yesterday. The Secretary of the British Embassy at Teheran has been attacked while travelling through the Turcoman steppes, and eleven of Ids escort killed. Mr Wise, secretary of the Land League in England, has been arrested on a charge of conveying weapons to assassins. February 20. The Press generally demands that the chiefs of the Irish Land league shall clear up the grave suspicious which now rest upon them owing to the recent disclosures. Carey, in re-examination, stated that the murder of Mr Burke was decided upon after toe appearance of a certain article in the Dublin Freeman's J uniat. Nineteen prisoners have now hern committed for participa ion in the Phoenix Park and Field assassinations. The Tories support Mr Gorst’s amendment, but the Government refrain from showing any intention to purchase support. In connection with the disclosures made regarding the Phoenix Park assassins, a number of newspapers denounce Mr Parnell’s silence on the matter, Mr Forster has been received with enthusiasm by the House of Commons.
