Any present trustee may transfer the management of the crust property to the Public Trustee, who will thereupon hold such property upon the original trusts attaching thereto. Any person, company, association, oi- public body within or without the cohmy, may place any property belonging to them in charge of the Public Trustee upon trust for such uses as may be defined in the deed creating the trust. Any building, land, or fnendly sedety may, by its rules, provide that property belonging to it may be placed in the Public Trust Ollice, for such trusts and uses and with such powers as may be defined in or by the said rules The advantages offered are:— Ist. State Guarantee against peculation, fraud, or dishonesty. 2nd. All proposed investments are considered by a board, consisting of the Honorable Colonial Treasurer, the Attorney General, the Comptroller ar.d Auditor Generel, the Government Insurance Commissioner, and the Public Trustee. Careful consideration of all securities offered is therefore ensured. 3rd. The Public Trustee, m his cor porate capacity, never dies, never leaves the country, and never becomes INCAPACITATED, thus avoiding the many inconveniences resulting from frequent iresh appointments of Trustees, necessitated by death, change of abode, or mental or bodily infirmity. 4th. Punctually and promtitude in the remittance of periodical payments to beneficiaries under trust or will to any part of the colony or elsewhere at which it may be desired that payments should be made. sth. The effective chock which is called into operation before any moneys can be drawn from the Public Trustee’s account. 6th. Reasonable charges: On estates such as are now being considered the Public Trustee is authorised to charge 1A per cent, on all receipts, and I I per cent on disbursements, and 5s percent. on all moneys invested No charge is made for obtaining probate, nor for passing stamp and property tax returns, nor for correspondence how ever voluminous.
