He is one of the strongest horses that ever travelled the districts, and is suitable for getting any class of horse required in the Province—either cross country or strong upstanding roadsters with plenty size and bone. Harkaway is half-brother to the famous horses Totara, Parawhenua, and Toi Toi, all being good performers in the province.
