It has now been agreed by the Egyptian Government that Arabi and his associates shall he allowed the services of English counsel on their trial, which will be according’y forthwith commenced. British troops are now beginning to arrive from Egypt, and banquets are being organised in their honoi at several places. A terrible outbreak of typhoid fever has taken place in Paris. The epidemic is spreading with fearful rapidity. Thousands of cases are reported, of which 230 have proved fatal. John Dunn warns tho Government that Woodshed is likely to ensue in Znluland. The thirteen kinglets who assumed the head of the Zulus on the capture of Cetewayo are now opposing him. Lady Normanby is dead. It is alleged that the Land Laagne accounts omit receipts to the extent ot £98,000. A Fenian society of the extreme American type has been discovered at Leicestei.
