FREDERICK JEKPERY, Receiver of Revenue. pro Warden. ■IVTOriOR OP I - TENTION TO IN CONSTRUCT A WATER RACE, To the Mining Registrar at Clyde, of the Otago Gold Fields Mining District, and ail other persons whom it may concern. Take notice that it is intended to construct a water race and divert water pursuant to tire provisions of sec. 31 of the Mines Act, 1877, commencing at a point in the Wai Keri Ken Creek about 300 yards below crossing on Blacks Hoad, and terminating at river Molyneux, about half-a mile below Mutton Town Cully. The length of such race is one mile or thereabouts, and its intend d course is North and South, The mean depth of such race is two feet, and the mean breadth is one foot and is proposed to divert two Govern-ments-heads of water. And further take notice that it is intended to construct a reservoir in connection with the said race, on Eastern bank of the Wai Keri Ker : , about 200 yards below the head of said race, the length of bank to he \5 yards, the greatest height, 10 feet; the greatest breadth of base, 12 feet; the area, about onequarterof on acre, and with a bywash communicating with the Wai Keri Keri Creek. A license to construct and use a Water Race about 35 miles in length, C' inmencingat Shepherd’s Creek, and terminating on the Dunstan Commonage above Clyde, taking water in its course from Morrissey’s Creek at or near the place where the said race crosses the said creek, to carry seven Government-heads in all. Original License, No. 4322 ; dated 13 Jnne, 1864 ; last, renewal, No. 9412 ; dated 28 May, 1882. 2. A license to construct and use a Water Race a amt 28 miles in length, commencing at Leahy's Creek and terminating on the Dunstan Commonage a ove Clyde, taking water in its course from Middle Boundary and Old Hut Creeks, at or near the re spective places where the said race crosses the said creeks, and carrying one Government-head from each creek (4 in all). Ori ginal License, No. ; dated 2(5 June. 1872; last renewal, No 5481, el ded 16 June, 1882 These two rights are carried in one race. 3. Certificates to construct a Tail Race about 1| mile in length, commencing in Conuew’s Gully and terminating in Wai Km Keri Creek. Granted, 25 Jnne, 1872; No. 276 ; and extende- 1 by certificates, No 1373, dated. 8 Jnne, 1876 ; and No. 10303 J dated 15 November, 1877. HEREBY MAKE APPLICATION pursuant to section 88 r.f the Mines Act, 1877, to surrender the said titles respectively, and for the issue of similar titles under the above corrected descriptions, preserving all priorities to such rights respectively under the said Act THE GOLDEN GATE GOLD MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).
