ANY person may appoint the Public Trustee executor and rnstee under his will or codicil. Any present t»us f ee may transfer ilie management of the crust property to the Public Trustee, who will thereupon hold such property upon the original trusts attaching thereto. Any person, company, association, or public body within or without the colony, may place any property belonging to them in charge of the Public Trustee upon trust for such uses as may be oetined in the deed creating the trust. Any building, land, or friendly society may, by its rules, provide that property belonging to it may lie placed in the Public Trust Office, for such trusts and uses and with such powers as may be defined in or by the stud rules The advantages offered are:—

State Guarantee against pecuhition, fraud, or dishonesty. 2nd All proposed investments are considered by a hoard, consisting of the Honorable Colonial Treasurer, the Attorney (.eneral, the Comptroller at.d Auditor General, the Government Insurance Commissioner, and the Public Trustee. Careful consideration of all securities offered is therefore ensured. 3rd. The Public Trustee, in his cor porate capacity, never dies, never leaves the country, and never becomes incapacitated, thus avoiding the many inconveniences resulting from frequent tresh appointments of Trustees, necessitated by death, change of abode, or mental or bodily infirmity. 4th. Punctually and promtitude in the remittance of periodical payments to beneficiaries under trust or will to anv part of the colony or elsewhere at which it may be desired that payments should he made. sth. The effective check which is called into operation before any moneys can he drawn from the Public Trustee's account. 6th. Reasonable charges: On estates such as are now being considered the Public Trustee is authorised to charge I.V pci cent, on all receipts, and 1A per cent on disbursements, and 5s per con*, on all moneys invested. No charge is made for obtaining probate, nor tor passing stum]) and property tax returns, nor for correspondence how ever voluminous.
