Somebody's lips were close to mine ; Thus tempted I couldn’t resist, Rougish and rosy, a sweet little mouth Was suddenly, softly kissed. Somebody's eyes looked up and frowned With sank a reproving glance. “ If kisses were wicked?” I asked ray pet, Then the eye began to dance. And, smiling, the littte one answered, As I knelt the’-e at her feet, “ They must ho a little bit naughty. Or they never would he so sweet.”
