DUNSTAN DISTRICT HOSPITAL.

Tho ordinary monthly meeting of the Committee of .Management was held iu tho committee room, Town It.nl, on Monday last, tho Bth hist., at 8 p.m. Present : Messrs J. E, Stevens, Vico-Pre. sident (in tho chair) ; Attlield, Beck, Holt, Cambridge, McGinnis, Sims, J. S Dickie, Treasurer; and Geo. Faoho, Secretary. Tho minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed. The Visiting Committee’s report No. 1 was received. Deport No 2, recommending payment of accounts for salaries and supplies for the past month, amounting to £l3 19a 7d, was read and received. The Surgeon’s report was read and received. Mr Cambridge was elected a member of tho Visiting Committee, vice Mr G. Clark retiring. The Treasurer’s report as follows was read and received. RECEIPTS. Naylor—Groceries, wines and spirits, etc. Mr T. 11. Bell—Bread. Mr Holt—Coals. The Visiting Committee were authorised to arrange for the supply of meat.

The Si crotary was authorised to draw up an agreement between the Hospital Committee and the resident surgeon, Dr Foot, and get same signed. Also to hand the surgeon lists of instruments in the Hospital and furniture in private residence ; also copy of resolution passed at a late meeting relating to the enclosed grounds round the hospital.
