Taking the average profits of the last 10 years as a standard, the business shows with the rents of the properties and interest of loans, a profit of 18 per cent, per annum on £30,000 (the sum proposed to ho called up) verified by Messrs William Brown and A. Banleman, accountants, as pier their certifies* e below. The profitable nature of carefully-managed brewing companies is well known ; and it may he safely said that this investment will constitute one of the mad lucrative of the kind in the Colony The brewery land consists of 1 acre 27 poles (freehold), having frontages to Great King and George streets, Dnneden, and contains a well, affording a never-failing supply of tlm t-ext water for brewing in the Colony. Upon this land are erected the substantial and well-constructed brewery buildings, ci nsistingof brick and stone mashing and storage premises, large brick and stone cellar, stone fermenting rooms, stone malt-house and kiln, brick and stone bottling stores, ami biick stables, together with fixed plant of the most modern and approved construction, wi'hbrewer's i esidenco, offices, and other premises, which, with the goodwill, extensive connection, and business of the proprietor, will he taken O'er at the price of £l7 000.
