MR R. BOURCHIER.
A complimentary dinner was given in Mrs George’s Dunstan Hotel, Clyde, on Friday evening last, the 17th inst. to Mr Richard Bcurchier. late Rabbit Inspector for Vincent Rabbit District, by a number of bis persona! friends and admirers. The customary toasts wer drank and good wishes passed and a most comfortable and enjoyable evening passed. Mrs George for the very excellent manner she placed the dinner on the table was eulogize 1 to the sky. On the following morning previous to Mr Bourchicr’s fleparture by conch for Queenstown where he is henceforth to be located as sheep and Rabbit Inspector for the Lake district, the most of the gentlemen who met the previous night with an accession to their numbers again met and presented Mr Bnurohier with a massive gold albert chain and looki-t. A gcne-al all-round shake bands and the customary glass of wine Mr Ronrchier mounted the coach and sped on his way amid a good round of cheers and hearty expressions of good will.
