To tlie Mining ’Registrar at Blacks of the Otago Odd Fields Mining (District and all other persons whom it may concern, TAKE NOTICE that it is intended to construct a Water-race and divert water, pursuant to the provisions of section 2G of the Mines Act, 1877, commencing at a point at the upper | gorge of the Mannherikia Itivcv, and terminating at the lower gorge on Blacks Flat, with an ana branch running through mv claim, certificate No. -32H 8. on Brandy Hill, Blacks. The leng'h of such Pace is three mi'es or thereabouts, and its intended course is ea?t and west. The mean depth of such principal Race is two feet and the mean breadth is i-ix feet; and of the branch llaeo, depth, two feet, breadth, one foot six inches, and it is proposed to divert thirty Government heads of water in the principal Pace and foin Government heads of water in the ana branch.
