VINCENT COUNTY COUNCIL.

At the meeting of the Council to be held on the 25th inst the following motions will be dealt with:—

1. Cr Colclongh to move—That doubts having arisen as to the legality of imposing driving charges on cattle found illegally despasturing on the Commonages, the clauses dealing therewith be raised and amended. .2. Cr Colclongh to move—That the amount of fine paid by Mr Willmott (in his late suit against the Council) to enable him to prove his contract be repaid (o him by the Council. 3. Cr Colclongh to move—That a sum not exceeding £ 15 be devoted to the erection of a foot bridge over the Bendigo Creek at the site of the old mill, to enable children to attend the school.

Gr Colclough to move—That steps be taken by the Council to have all the fences across surveyed roads on the Cromwell Commonage removed, that license hol« ers may have free access to the whole commonage. 5. Cr Colclongh lo move—That the amount of rates levied on the Cromwell HospitiF, viz, £3, be remitted. <!. Cr Mackellar to move—That the Engineer be authorised to expend the sum of L 250 on the road Upper Nevis to the Hush.
