THE DIVISION OF THE RUNS.

The Waste Lands Board have agreed to the following divisions of the runs in this immediate locality. We merely refer in this issue to a few runs ; in our next wo purpose-dealing -with the whole of the ; runs in Otago.

Rnn226 (Handyside and Roberts, Vincent and Maniototo) —That 4300 acres betaken for sale and settlement, that 17000 acres of Run 237 be added as per schedule, the runs to be re-let as follows —220 as per map for ten years at L3OO, 526 a and-226b to he divided into four.runs.

224 (Holland Bros, Maniototo) —That . 55(10 acres on fiat in Ida Valley be taken for settlement as per schedule. Remainder ,to be.re-let in five runs as per Chief Sur--veyor-ls schedule for four years, at 7d .petacre upset rental. •225 {Hollands Bros., Maniototo).—That a block of 6100 acres, as per schedule, be reserved for sale and settlement in Ida Valley and White Sow Valley. Remainder of run to he divided into six runs ; boundaries to be adjusted by the Cltief Sur-veyor-two for live years, two for six, and two for seven years, at 7d per acre. 261 (Sir F. 1). Bell, Maniototo and Vincent). —That S3OO acres he taken for settlement as per schedule. Remainder to be re-let in six runs, boundaries to be fixed by the Chief Surveyor. Division of 261b, as per schedule, to lie leased for eight years. Division of 231 a as per schedule, to he leased for five years, at upset rental of 4d per acre. Portion of '3oßa to bo added as per schedule. Runs 262 and 256 (Robert Campbell, senr, Tuapeka, Maniototo, and Vincent).—'These two runs to he subdivided into seven runs and relet—three for seven years, and four, including the back country, for 10 years; one run in the back country at 3d per acre, and the remainder at 4jd, as upset rentalKun;249 (Strode and Frasar, Vincent) to be relet in three parts, boundaries to be fixed by the Chief Surveyor—to he let one (north) for five.years, one (middle) for seven years, and one (south) for ten years; upset ren t.,-il„is per acre. Run 221 (McLaren, Creig and Turnbull, Vincent.)—to be re-let in five portions. Ran 221, as per schedule, to ho divided into two runs, boundaries to be fixed by the Chief Surveyor; the remainder, 22' A 221u 221 c, as per schedule division of Run 221, to be leased for eight years at 6d per acre; 221 a, for seven year-s at 5d per acre; 221n for seven years, at 5d per acre; and 221 c, fur seven years at 5d per acre. With regard to subdivision 221 d, suggested in Government schedule, the land within this being portion of Clyde commonage, the Board declines to recommend the same to be released.

Kim 220 (Rol't -Campbell, sen, Vincent) —To be re-let in four portions, boundaries to be fixed by the Chief Surveyor; two subdivisions on Manuherikia run to be let for five years, remainder for seven years all at (Jo per aeiu upset rental. Run. 223 (.1. C. O. olastford, •.Vincent)— Resolved that 780 C acres bo taken for sale, and settlement as per schedule, to be re lei iu six runs, boundaries to he.fixed by ( hief Surveyor, 223, 223 a, 223b, 223 c, and 223 i), as shown on Chief Surveyor’s map furnished to the Hoard, 223 a and 223e to be re-let for live years, 223b, 223 c and 223d, f0r nine years.- all at upset rental of Gi per acre.
