On Saturday last a fatal gnu accident occurred at .«orth laieri to a young man named Hubert Millar, second son of Thos. Milier, with whim he resided. Deceased was a member of the East Taiori Rifle Volunteer C„rpa, and at the time mentioned went upstairs to his room for his rifle, intending to take pirt in aborning practice at the butts. The rifle had been loaded, and when lie was on his way downstairs it went off accidentally, the bullet uuts.iug under the left jaw an 1 passing through the bade part of the head,, causing death instantaneously.
