The “ Evening Star” says :• ‘‘The Dunedin Central Temperance Conference have resolved to heartily support the ca'n-li-lature of Mr John Bathgate for Kostya district,” The temperance bilges in this district, we are informed, are contemplating some c mse of action during the coining elections, but whether or no it will take the form of a h’oek vote it is not yet decided.
