Vincent County Gazette VINCENT COUNTY COUNCIL. Special order made in pursuance of the powers and provisions contained in Sections 36 and 60 of “ The Counties Act, 1876,” ; altering the number of ridings and the number of councillors to be returned. Statutory public notice is hereby given that, at a special meeting of the County Council to be held in the Council Offices, Blithe-street, Clyde, on Saturday, October 29, 1881, at noon, a resolution will be submitted to confirm the Council’s resolution under date of September 29th, 1881, as follows : “That the number of ridings in Vincent County be reduced to eight; and that for this purpose the Hidings of Nevis and Kawarau be amalgamated under the name of Garrick Biding, and that the Council order thereon, and that one member of the Council be returned by and for eaohriding.” The draft order may be inspected at the County Offices, Clyde.
