THE carelessness displayed by some over that beautiful and indispensable piece of workmanship the watch is truly wonderful. Mothers will hand it to the baby on the knee. The result of that act can easily be imagined : then being taken for repair to the nearest person who advertises at low prices, and thereby ruining perhaps a valuable watch.
