The chiming apparatus of the Cathedral bells was tried for the first time to day. A geeat deal of satisfaction was expressed at the sweet and melodious tones of the bells, and the time when they will be regularly rung is looked forward to with pleasure. Mrs Walter Hill and family are to receive a benefit previous to their departure from the colony.
