BRITISH AND FOREIGN LONDON, Sf.pt. 7. A fire broke out on the ship Gareloch, loading for Sydney, and before it could bo extinguished a large portion of her cargo was destroyed or damaged. The election for the vacant seat in the House of Commons for County Tyrone, Ireland, took place to-day, and resultee in the return of the Liberal candidate by a narrow majority. Tho Parnelhte candidate was ignominiously defeated.
