DUNEDIN STOCK REPORT. Messrs Donald Reid and Co. report for the week ending Wednesday, Aug 25, 18S1, as follows: Eat Cattle.—Best bullocks sold at L 7 10s to Ll2 2s Cd ; others, L 5 10s to L 7 7s Cd ; best cows, LG 10s to L 7 5s ; others, L 4 5s to b5 10s—or equal to 20s to 22s per 1001b for prime quality. Fat Calves.—lo yarded, of good quality. They sold at 13s to 28s each. Fat Sheep.—To-day’s market was supplied with 230 merinos of inferior and good quality, and 1C63 crossbreds. Best crossbreds sold at 15s Cd to 16s 9d ; good do, 14s Cd to 15s 3d ; others, 12s 9d to 14s ; best merinos, 11s Cd ; good do, 10s 9d ; stores, Cs Cd.

Fat Lambs.—l2 came to hand,’the first of the season, and sold at Gs to 13s Cd per head.

Pigs.—Porkers at 24s to 33s ; stores, 14s to 21s ; wea'nera, Cs Cd to 11s. We quote pork, 3Jd to 4d per lb. Store Cattle.—Bullocks two and three years, fetched L 4 17s Cd ; young steers, L 3 10s ; heifers and yearlings, L2 to L 3 2s Cd.

Store Sheep.—No transactions. Wool. —On Monday we offered a few lots which sold at—for secured, 3d ; crossbred, Hid ; merino slipe, 12d ; greasy crossbred, 8d per lb. Sheepskins.—Heavy crossbreds, sold at 6s 9d to Cs 5d ; good, 4a Cd to 5s Cd ; dry do, 2s 3d to 7s 3d ; heavy merino, 4s lid to 5s Id ; good do, 4s to 4s 9d ; dry do, 2s Cd to 4s Cd.

Hides.—At our sale we disposed of 13C, 3Jd to 4Jd per lb ; calfskins, 4d. Grain.—We quote wheat : Prime milling 4s 2d to 4s 4d ; medium, 3s Id to 4s ; fowls’ feed, 2s Cd to 3s per bushel.
