THE LICENSING COURTS. The annual Licensing Courts for the renewals or transfers of existing licenses, or fur granting new licenses, were held at the places and on the dates as follows C ROMWELL.—Tuesday, June 14. Before J. Keddell, J. Preshaw, F. Willm 'it, and W. Bennett, Esqs , ComMISSIONERS. TOWN OF CROMWELL. The following licenses were granted : G. W Goodger, general and night; Charles McKenna, ditto ; T. Heron, ditto ; J. Marsh, ditto ; D. Mnrloy, general ; John Sherwood, J. Kerin, D. A. Jolly, Kum Goon Wa and Co., wholesale ; J. Gibson, brewer’s. DISTRICT OF CROMWELL. W. Bennett, wholesale; C. Angel, Bannockburn, general and night. General licenses were granted to—C. Manson, Bannockburn ; J. Lawrence, Quartzville; J. Richards, Bannockburn; D. Davies, Cromwell and Clyde road ; R. Felton, Cromwell and Clyde road ; J. Perriam, Lowburn ; T. H. Byron, Mount Pisa; H. Mardman, Luggate ; C. O’Donnell, Bendigo ; George McLacblan, Rooky Point; 11. Weiler, Bendigo. Bush licenses were granted to—A. McLeod, Tarras ; R. Kidd, Shingle Creek ; W. Howard, Lindis ; T. Dowling, Hawea Flat; E, Caytord, Panama Rush. The application of H. Tobin for a general Hoense at Poison Creek, not having been d in time, was adjourned till the next •» day.
