The Dunstan Times.
CLYDE, FRIDAY JUNE 10, 1881.
Beneath the rule of men entirely Just The pen is mightier than the sword,
We learn that the member for the Dunstan (Mr Vincent Pyke) leaves' Clyde for Wellington this afternoon to attend to his Parliamentary duties. Our best wishes go with him for unqualified success with respect to “ The Land Question” and the Central Otago railway; and we sincerely hope that ho will do his very utmost to bring the double “ crusade ” to a successful termination. He has worked long and hard to get the land and a railway for the people, and it would not be too much on our part and on the part of those directly interested in the matter to expect that he will come off victorious in the struggle which he will engage in in the House of Representatives to bring about the wishes of the Central Otago Land League, audio get the railway. As wc before said, we wish him every success.
