! DUNEDIN STOCK REPORT. Mr Donald Stronach (on behalf of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limiter!) reports as follows for the week ending May 25th : Fat Cattle were in moderate supply, and Vtoorl yofdiarl nraro raodily tolron Kjr the trade at fully up to last week’s prices. Bullocks from L 5 12s 6d to Ll2, and cows L4toL 95s per head. We quote prime beef 22s Cd per 1001b. Privately we have 25 head at satisfactory prices. Fat Sheep. Only 1047 head of crossbreds were penned to day, which realised an advance of is to Is 6dper head Prices ranged from 10s Od to 15s 3d. We sold a draft on account of Mr William Shand at 14s 9d to 15s 3d per head. Prime mutton we quote at 2id per lb. Fat Lambs.—42 were offered, and sold at 9s per head. Fat Pigs. —6B were sold at from 8s 6d (for suckers) up to 49s each. Wool.—After preparation of our last week’s report we received the following telegram from our London Office, dated May 17 : —“The sales progress firmly. Up to date 50,000 bales have been sold. Competition is increasing and market is firmer.

Sheepskins.—We offered a largo catalogue at auction this week. Butchers crossbreds realised from 2s Id to 5s 7d ; merinos, Is 7dto 3s lid; pelts, 6d to Is 3d each ; skins in bales, 4jd per lb. Hides.—We cleared several lots on Monday at from 12s 6d to 22s each, for weights ranging from 38 to C6lb. Tallow.—We have sold at up to 23s 6d per cwt. for medium tallow, and 16s 6d for rough fat.

Grain.—Wheat : There is no change to report in this market : 4s per bushel is the extreme price for prime milling ; fair to good may be quoted 3s 6d to 3s lOd ; inferior fowl feed. 2s fid to 3s 6d.
