London, May 4. It is announced that the Irish members of the House of Commons will shortly propose a vote of censure on the (Right Hon. W. E. Forster, Chief Secretary for Ireland, for his action in connection with the arrest of Mr Dillon, M.P.
Three Greek army corps are being prepared to occupy the territory in Thessaly and Epirus, which is to be ceded by Turkey for the extension of the frontier. Additional news has reached the Admiralty regarding the disaster to H.M.S. Dottrell in the Straits of Magellan. It is not known how the explosion was caused, but the loss of life was 8 officers and 135 men. . The Irish Land Bill was again under consideration in the House of Commons this evening. In the course of the debate Sir Stafford Northcote made a speech forcibly condemning the measure. He fm ther took occasion to denounce generally the policy of the Government, which he as decidedly Communistic in its tendencies.
May 5. The Irish members, out of revenge for the arrest of Mr Dillon, aro abstaining from taking part in all party divisions in the House of Commons on the Irish Land Bill which is now under consideration-
May 6. Mr Parnell has given notice in the House of Commons of a motion for the rejection of the Irish Land Bill.
May 8. Tho Right Hon. Mr Gladstone is indisposed, but his illness is not of a nature to cause alarm.
News has been received that several riots have occurred in Ireland over the service of writs tor eviction of tenants, and the collisions between the police and people have been of a serious character.
St Petersburg, May 6. It is currently rumored here that the Czar has framed a complete programme of reform to be instituted in the government of Russia.
Natal, May 6. Intelligence is to hand from the Transvaal that the relations between the Boers and natives continue moat unsatisfactory, and that the latter now threaten to rise against the Boers after the British troops are withdrawn.
Paris, May 8. Telegrams have be»n received from the head-quarters of the French army in Tunis stating that the force is slowly advancing towards the capital. The Porte and the Bey have issued a further protest to the Powers against the action of the French Government in sending an expedition to Tunis. The French Government have announced that after the Tunisian tribe of Krottmirs had been punished by the French troops the expedition would terminate, and that diplomatic negotiations with the Bey would follow.
