T° the Warden at Alexandra, Under the provisions of section 93 of the Mines Act, 1877, We hereby make application for a special claim of nearly one mile in length of the hod of the river Molyneux as pegged out by us on behalf .of Company of adventurers foj* dredging for gold, our lower ’pegs and trenches being one at Bluff .point on the Eastern bank of the river Malyneux, above the township of Alexandra; the opposite one about 200 yards above the Fraser or Earnscleugh river, and the upper pegs, the one on the Western side of the river, a little above Ryan’s paddock, and the other immediately opposite on the Eastern bank. And we apply under circumstances involving the expenditure of considerable sums of money,, the dredge being constructed for us costing, when placed on the river, £5,500, and which will steadily employ in its working directly and indirectly, fifteen men.
