Ho full understands that it ia no a question between Protestants and hut between the friends of order and the anarchists. He openly disapproves the agrarian movement, and sincerely desires to assist the English government if pos-iUIe. He is well aware that he is only lie-mu ' one side of ihe case ; and he feels that were lie to break silence, ho might, in seeki> g to do good, produce a contrary result through his imperfect knowledge of the affairs.”
