Galves —Nine were disposed of at from 13s to 31s per head. Fat ply, 14-34 bead being penned (of which about 600 were merinos, the remainder being cross-bred), and with good competition from the trade, prices allowed an advance of about Is 61 to 2s per head on labs rates. Wool.—We shall hdd our first regular auc'ion for tbo present season, on Tuesday next, the 11th January, When we shall offer about 1(100 bales of greasy, Washed, and scoured wool. Sheepskins.—ln consequence of the holidays we did not, hold a sale this week. Hides There is no change to report, the demand continuing strong at last quotations Tallow. —The demand isvery slack, and pales difficult to effect We have disnoserf of some parcels of medium tallow at 24< per cwt, and of rough fat at 16s, which is the ton price. Grain.—Transactions have been bn an exceedingly limited scale, and except in the case of prime milling wheat all quotations must be corfsMored nominal.
