CLYDE TRUST.
An er'raordinary meeting of the Trust took place in the Library Hall, on Monday last the 29th ultimo, owing to iheie being no (ptormn at the ilate of the usual meeting;. Eri-scnt Vincent I’yko, Esq,(l’icsident) Mc-asc li, Naylor, C. AttrieM, J. E. Cambridge, G. Fnche, (Secretary) ami 0. E. Stevens (lion. Treasurer). The mioa'es of the previous meeting were re el ami confirmed. The Hon. Treasurer brought up and read statements shewing the receipts and expenditure, assets and liabilities, &c., as follows, I.ißitAP.v Account from the 19.h March, 18S0, to the 29th November, 1380— Receipts, 1.37 84. Expendi'ure, L 39 2 11. Debit balance, Id 14 7. Trust Account for the same period. Receipts, 1,283 28, Expenditure, ireluding 1.200 fixe l deposit, L 276 1 S, Credit balance, 1.7 1 0. Total Assets and Liabilities of both accounts, Assets, L 252 9 11, including icnts and other amounts duo ; Liabilities, I,. r >2 18 0. Resolved—That Messrs A. A. Oliverand C. Holden be again written to, demanding a settlement of amounts due by them to the late Corporation ; referring (hem to letter written them of the 24 hj July, ISSO, and failing a satisfactory reply in seven days from the date of writing to place the matter in the hands of the Solicitor. Accounts amounting to L woro passed for payment. Resolved—That the R ink of New South V) ales bo requested to grant an overdraft to enable existing liabilities to bo cleared oil', and that all persons and Corporations indebted to the trust be requested to pay amounts due by them. llennlvcrt—That both Library and Trust monies bo kept in one account in the bank, but that the Treasurer keep separate accounts. The Secretary mentioned that Mr 0. Holden was prepared to lease the Trust reserve, if terms and conditions could bo agree I upon. Resolved That applications for leasing the Trust reserve (Domain) be invited by advertisement in the Dnnstan Times. Applications to bo sent in >o the Secretary on or before Monday, 2l)th December, 1880, Resolved—That the following be tha conditions of leasing the Trust reserve. The whole of the land to be securely fenced by the lessee, and at the expiration of the lease, the fence to be in good order and condition. The Trust to reserve to itself the right to plant with trees during the term of the lease an area not exceeding live acres. The lessee to have the right to cultivate the land, sufficient space, however, to be left for Cricket and Sports. Rut, prior to the breaking up of any of the land, or the erection of any buildings, the consent of the Trust to bo obtained. The lessee at his own expense to provide gate and inmstilo to tho cricket ground. The public to have the light of ■ entry free of charge to the cricket ground. The lessee to give security to the extent of 1.5 i for the fulfillment of the conditions of the lease. 1 The lauding then adjourned.
