London, September loth. The match against, the Sussex Comity team, which was interrupted owing to bad weather, was resumed to day. The Australians continued their first innings, and were all disposed of for 154 rims. ’ The Home team then went in for th-ir second innings, a.id when atuinns were drawn had lost two avickfts for 15G runs, but the weather being very showery throughout the day the match was unfinished. September ]Gtb. The match against Eleven Gentlemen Players of Scotland, at E linbu-gh, Was commenced to day. The Home team went first to the wickets, and were all disposed of for 143 runs.
September 17th. The match was resumed to.,lav The Australians went in for their first, inniii 'S wore disposed of for 142 runs. The Homo team went •'o the wickets for their secon I innings, and when the stumps w 1 to dra vn for the day, they had scored 100 for tho loss of live wickets.
September ISth. To day the Home team closed their innings for 130 runs. Boyle bowled splendidly and did the “ hat tri-k,” taking three wickets in three successive balls. The Ans. tralians won the match with the loss of four wickets. Jarvis and Alex inder hatted well, scoring respectively 41 and 47. Both were Canoht.
The Australians play against the Nottingham County Kleven on the 23rd and the h™ following days. They leave Ku ;- land for Australia by mail steamer on October Bth.
