DUNSTAN JOCKEY CLUB.

A meeting of members of the D.J.C and others interested in racing took place in the Committee lloom of the Clyde Library on Wednesday evening last. Mr Welsford occupied the chair. Resolved—That the handicapping bo left in the hands of the Stewards or whomsoever they may appoint. Resolved—That the Collectors report to a meeting of the Stewards the result of ♦heir canvass, such meeting to be held on Wednesday evening next; and that the Stewards he empowered to draw up a

programme. Mr Welsford valnnteered to superintend what work was necessary in connection with the stand anil course. Ihesolved— That the preliminary notice of meeting be advertised in the Dunstan Times.

Resolved—That the grand stand be insured for L2OO. Nearly L2O was subscribed in the room. A vote of thanks to the Chairman terminated the proceedings.
