FA CHE, instructed by the Shareholders, will sell by Public Auction, at Ryan’s Bendigo hotel, Alexandra, on Monday SEPTEMBER Gth 1880, At 1 o’clock sharp, The celebrated Mining Claim at Doctor’s Point, known as “ Cameron and Bayley’s,’ 7 miles below Alexandra, together with Water-race and Plant for working the same ; also, a first-class Boat.
The Claim is an extended one of 4 Acres, only about Jialf-an-acre of which has been worked, and is now in a fair way of working, The plant comprises tramway and trucks, planks, barrows, sluice-boxes, picks, shovels, crowbars, and every other tool necessary for working a claim of the description. The water-race heads from Shanty Creek, and has a right to two heads of water, and as the race is at a very high elevation, commanding miles on either side of the river terraces, it is most valuable. The boat is 13ft. long, thoroughly sound and trustworthy. Without the slightest reserve.
In the hands of a party of working miners this Claim would prove a fortune, the Auctioneer accordingly draws the attention of Miners to the Sale. The Claim, .Race, and Plant will be sold in one Lot, the Boat as a second Lot.
