Fat Calves. —Only three were olTercd, winch sold at 52s to 5Gs per head. Fat Sheep were in very large supply, head having been penned, consisting of iOO meiinos and 23J0 ero.sbrcds. The former description sold at from 7s 31 to to 14s, and the latter at from Os lo 17s Cd per head, but a considerable number were turned out. Last week’s prices were not maintained by about Is to Is Gd per bead. On account of MctsrS J. C. Gilchrist, T. and M. Henderson, Thomas Murray, Walter Miller Baton, and J. and J, Sutherland, we disposed of 037 cross-bred, at from Ids to 17s, ami 138 merinos at Ids ; and on behalf of Messrs South and Vezev, of 51(1 merinos at 7s 3.1 to Ss Gd, We quote prime mutton barely 31, and medium 211 per lb. Sheepskins.— We cleared a good catalogue with fair conipetiintil at our weekly auction on Monday, prices being well maintained. Batchers’ cross-bred skins realise dnp to 4s 7d, and merinos Ss dd each Station and full-woolled skins sold at from Is 5d tots lid ; pelts, Gl. | Hides.—Demand unabated at our late quotations of 3Jd peril), for wet salted, and 2l)s each for butchers’ green hides. Tallow. We report Sales o’ well-rendered ' tallow up to 975, and of rough fat up to ISs per end,, at which there is a fair ini quiry. Crain—Wheat : The demand for mo limn to prime continues, good, but supplies coining to hand are not large. Wo repeat our quotations of last week, viz., prime milling, 3s l()d to 3s lid ; medium, 3s Od to 3i 81 ; fowl feed (nominal), 2s 3,1 to 2s 91. Oats ; Market continues linn. Good quality mil • ing would fetch Is Gd without dillieulty, and feed oats up to Is od for prime—the latter figure is, however, hardly up tc holders’ ideas. Barley : Ko improvement to report. 3s per bushel might be obtained for prime mailing samples, but the bulk o! this cereal in the market consists of mod inn quality, for which wo cannot quote above 2s Gd, whereat wo have made sales diuini the week.
