DUNSTAN DISTRICT HOSPITAL.
The usual monthly meeting of the Committee was held in the Town Hall Chamber on Monday evening last, the 12th inst. Present—Messrs B. Naylor (Vice-Presi-dent, in the chair), Wilson, Holt, Atltield, and Stevens (Treasurer. The minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed.
The inward correspondence, comprising letter from Mr E. Charnock, contractor for re-erection of flospital buildings, asking for final settlement of accounts, was read and received. Resolved—That the letter be referred to the Visiting Committee. Visiting Committee s No. 1 Report, to the effect that the management of the Institution was everything to be desired, and that the Committee had no recommendations to make, was read and received.
Report No. 2, recommending payment of accounts for salaries and supplies for the past month, amounting to L s d, was lead and received.
Tho Treasurer’s Report for the quarter, as follows, showing a debit balance of LOO 1 Is 2d, was read and received : RECEIPTS. After a good deal of talk, it was resolved—That the accounts due by discharged patients be placed in the hands of Mr F. J. Wilson for collection. Mr Attliehl was re-elected member of Visiting Committee. The meeting then separated.
