WASTE LANDS BOARD.
The following business was transacted at the sitting of the Waste Lands Board held on the 16th instant ;
Mr Thomas M'Donnell applied to purchase at LI per acre section 1, block 1, Kawarau district, being portion of the Crown Terrace Hundred. It was agreed to advertise the section and adjoining one, No. 2, as open for application. The Vincent County Council applied to have a deviation of the road line made through sections 46, and OS, 52 and 64, block I, Leaning Rook district. The, application was agreed to on condition that the County Council take stops to have present surveyed road-line closed, so that adjoining sections may not be prejudiced by loss of road frontage. The following application for license under the deferred payment system was approved : —P. Macdonald, section 6, block X Poolburn.
The following application to purchase under lease was approved John Blackley, section 2S, block V, Tiger Hill. The following certificates of application for agricultural leases were approved H. Partridge, sections 5 and 6, block V, Cromwell; John Perriam, section 44, block Ilf, Cromwell.
The following application to purchase was approved:—Hugh Orossan, section 23, Block I, Teviot.
An application by Mr Robert Tubman to purchase section 2, block XIV, Benger, was referred to the District Laud Officer to report upon the application, ami upon what had best he done with the whole reserve.
