London - , April 27th. The following further additional appointments to the New Ministry have been announced:—Sir W. Vernon llarcourt becomes Secretary of State for the Home Department, and the Duke of Argyll fills the position of Lord President of the Council. Mr G. J. Goschen and Lord Roseherry were offered bat declined portfolios in the now Ministry. Mr Gladstone experiences a difficulty in the formation of the new Ministry, owin ' to some prominent radicals having claimed portfolios. April 2Stli. Lord Kimberley has accepted office as Principal Secretary of State for the Colonics ; Lord John Poyntz Spencer as President of the Council; and the Duke of Argyll, Lord Privy Seal. The Earl of Ripon is to be Viceroy of India ; Sir 0. Wentworth Dilke, Foreign Under-Sccrc-tary ; G. J. ShawLefevre, Secretary to the Admiralty ; the Right Hon. W. P. Adam, Secretary Public Works. Sir H. £. Chamberlain enters the Cabinet.

Tbe tone of the sale was quieter and weaker. For inferior and faulty wool the demand is purely speculative. The Client steamship Garonne has arrived at Plymouth with the Australian Cricketers on hoard, ail of whom are quite well. The corvette Bacchante, with the sons of the Prince of Wales on board, has returned. May 4th. Mr Bradlaugh, wdm was elected for Northampton during the late elections, having declined to take the oath, a Committee of the Commons has been appointed to consider whether the same shall be dispensed with.
