Notice is herkbv'oiven, that the Vincent County Council did, -at a meeting held at the Council Chambers, Clyde, on the 28th day of April, 1880, appiove of the foregoing Estimate: And Notice is further given that it is intended to make and levy a General Rate of ONE SHILLING in the £ upon the values of Jail rateable property within the County, as appears by the Valuation Roll for the time being; that such rate shall be made for the period ending on the Slat day of March, 1881, and shall bo payable, in one sum, on the 30th day of May, 1880 ; and that the particulars Bfrtfte-TO8 f rtfte-TOl r & 6 to manneF'requircS hy “The Rating Act, 1876”; and that such rate-book is kept at the County Offices, Clyde, and is open for inspection by all ratepayers on any week day, except customary holidays, between the hours of two and four o’clock p.m. A.UTlON—Applicants for "Water Races and Tail Races are hereby notified that where any such Race crosses or traverses any road, a copy of the application must be sent to the County Clerk in conformity with the requirements of the Regulations made under “The Mines Act, 1877,” respecting Water Races, &c. ; and no person, whether holding a certificate from the Warden’s Court or otherwise, will be permitted to proceed with the construction of a Race across or upon any lino of road without having first obtained the approval in writing of tho County Engineer.
