Letter Box Clyde cleared for dispatch as under : For Dunedin via Lawrence, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 2 p.m. For Cromwell, Queenstown, etc.. Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, at 10 a. in. For Dunedin via Nasoby, Mondays, at 10 p.m. For Ophir, Nas“by, Palmerston, etc., Mondays and Thursdays, at 10 p.m. S. DEWAR, Postmaster, Clyde. Mails close at the Manuheriliia office as under : For Dunedin and intermediate stations, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, at 2.45 p.m. For Dunedin, via Palmerston, on Mondays, at 5 p.m. For Palmerston and intermediate stations, on Mondays and Thursdays, at 5 p.m. For Queenstown and intermediate stations, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, at 9 a.m. WILLIAM HENEY, Postmaster, Tire following are the dates of arrival and departure of English mails both via San Francisco and Suez : VIA SAX FRANCISCO.

There is now a fortnightly service between Melbourne and London, the dates being every fourteen days, but the other bites are not given as there is no contract .made to connect with New Zealand. ■
