It is reported that the new proprietors of the Wellington mottling paper intend to intr (luce female labor into their office.

The Sydney Executive have finally decided that the bushrangers Scott and Rogan shall be executed.

Recently a woman in South Australia, while bathing a child three vears old, upset a kerosene lamp, which, exploding, burnt both to death. Tricket'. has announced his intention of proceeding to England to row against Hanlon, the Canadian sculler.
Scott and Bogan were executed at Sydney on the 20th instant. The sentence was carried out privately, tho Press and the public being excluded. Scott’s confession and autobiography have been handed to Canon Rich. It is expected they may form the subject of an inquiry into tho Egerton Bank robbery. They are said to implicate others in conspiracy.
Scott, finally denied having shot Bowen the constable, or being concerned in the, death of Mr F. M. Bates, the actor. He wrote voluiii’nou-ly. Mrs A mess, his affianced wife, attended him to the last, and defrayed the cost of the funeral.
