RABBIT NUISANCE ACT.

The nomination of candidates for the offices of Trustees under the above Act for , the Vincent County Babbit District, took place at the Court House, Clyde, on Wednesday last, the 23rd inst., Jackson Keddtdl, Esq., R. M., Returning Officer, presiding. The following nominations were received :

Henry Francis Willmott. Mt Pisa Station. Wi liam Fraser, Earnscleugh Station. Robert Stewart, Hawksburn Station. John Pitches, Blacks. Thomas Archibald Fraser, Lake Hawea. James Cowan, Kawarau Station. William Gilbert Rees, Galloway Station. Henry Campbell, Wanaka Station. John Rymill Kemp, Bald Hill Flat. Patrick VPGettigan, Raid Hill Flat. John Butler. Raid Hill Flat Janies Oliver, Bald Hill Flat. it was then notified that there being more candidates than offices to fill (5), the election would take place on Saturday, tffanuary 3rd, 1880, and that the polling Booths would be at Clyde, Cromwell, Ophir, and Albert Town
