At the sitting of the Waste Lands Board held on Wednesday the 22nd instant, the consideration of an application hy Patrick Galvin to purchase fifteen acres around his residence area, in block 8, Teviot was deferred until the block is dealth with.—At the same meeting the application of Henry Norman, to purchase 2 acres or thereabouts in the town of Newcastle, per sketch, his hotel site and other lands having been washed away by the r. cent floods, vas grant'd at 1.2 per no re, a survey to be famished if ncrejsary.
