This surface sole is of a “ finer quality of compressed gum, and “ will, as regards rubbing or friction “ amongst rocks or rubble, assuredly “ stand much better than ordinary boots. “ We determined on this when we found “we could do it within your limits. We “ further determined to let you see some “of another make, namely, a case with “ hoots having the soles of ordinary “thickness and the uppers both of the “ tine quality. This boot being lighter, “ we can do it at same piice as ordinary “boots. We are always prepaied to re- “ ceive your valued suggestions.”
Note.- Upon examining this now shipment of Noith British Cum Boots, 1 observe the Company have succeeded at last in permanently li ving the heels without the aid of screws or nails, which is a vast improvement upon the others, as the nails used to wear through the boot, and sometimes give uueasiucss to the wearer.
